Trailblazer Team Classroom Procedures
1) BETWEEN CLASSES- Use the restroom, get drinks, and bring everything you might need from your locker. You will be allowed to leave the classroom for emergencies only.
2) ENTERING THE CLASSROOM- Enter the classroom for quickly and quietly with all the materials you will need. Begin bellwork and or assignment immediately.
3) INSTRUCTIONAL TIME- If the teaher is instructing the class, you will need to stay in your seat and raise your hand to participate in discussions. If you are working in groups or individually, one person at a time is permitted out of their seat unless directed by the teacher.
4) ASSGNMENTS: 8TH GRADE LATEWORK POLICY- To ensure that students particpate in every educational opportunity and to better prepare them for success in future academic endeavors, the following policy for assignments will be adhered to:
6) ABSENCES- In is the students responsibility to make up any work missed. Pick up any missed assignments from the teacher.
7) TARDIES- When the bell rings, the doors to all classrooms will be shut and locked. To enter the classroom after the tardy bell, you must have an escort or a pass. Please enter the room quietly and begin working.
8) LEAVING CLASS- When leaving the classroom, you must have either the clipboard pass or an office pass.
9) END OF THE HOUR- Please wait for the teacher to dismiss you, not just the bell ringing.
10) HALLWAY- All students should walk quietly on the right side of the hallway. Please stay in your assigned area at all times.
11) LUNCH- We will line up in the classroom and proceed in a line to the lunchroom.
- Please sit in the correct section of the lunch room and sit until you are dismissed to take your tray up for disposal.
- When dismissed, line up in the designated area with your teacher and walk to your classroom without disturbing other students or classes.

- All assignments are due by the due date
- If a student chooses to miss this opportunity to turn in an assignment, they may still turn in the assignment by the end of the 3rd school day for a 25% deduction.
- If an assignment is not received by the end of the 3rd school day, a zero will be recorded for that assignment.
